In order to acquire the true ability to thrive in a society that is constantly changing, it is important to thoroughly study and understand the fundamentals of economics, business administration, and finance. These will serve as the foundation for solving new problems when the economic environment changes in the future and you face them. Even more important is to acquire the ability to think for yourself. Rather than simply cramming knowledge, you need to think proactively, listen to the opinions of others, collaborate, clearly communicate your own thoughts, and act accordingly. The thinking, judgment, and expression skills cultivated through practical learning in the "Seminar" will surely come in handy in the real world.
The Faculty of Faculty of Economics has introduced a course system that is linked to seminars and consists of interrelated lecture courses. First-year students acquire the basic knowledge and etiquette for university study in seminars, and from their second year, they join a course of their own choosing, broadening their knowledge through a wide variety of lecture courses while pursuing themes they wish to study in seminars. Students can also choose courses and seminars regardless of their department, and the curriculum is designed to fully address interests that become clear as they study.
