Basic seminar steps

First year

First semester: Basic seminar on media sociology for first-year students / Second semester: Applied seminar on media sociology for first-year students

This course builds the foundations for learning media sociology, including how to select literature, write reports, hold discussions, and use various content.

Second Year

First semester: Media Sociology Methodology Seminar 1 / Second semester: Media Sociology Methodology Seminar 2

In addition to media analysis, surveys and fieldwork methods, students will also learn how to create videos and websites, while gaining a sense of what is happening on the ground.

Third Year

First semester: Media Sociology Seminar 1 / Second semester: Media Sociology Seminar 2

Students will read the literature in rotation and engage in group and individual pre-research, with an eye toward determining their own theme in preparation for their graduation thesis or graduation project.

Fourth Year

First semester: Media Sociology Graduation Research Seminar / First semester: Graduation Thesis and Graduation Project

Using the various knowledge and skills acquired over the three years as a foundation, students will conduct more advanced research and compile the results of their four years of study into a graduation thesis and graduation project.
