Basic seminar steps

First year

Basic Seminar on Japanese and East Asian Culture

In order to discover your own interests, you will acquire a foundation that will enable you to apply yourself to any field in Japan and East Asia, and you will learn the basics of research activities such as presentations and discussions.

Second Year

Specialized Seminars

Students select a course and seminar and begin specialized learning. They will read literature according to their interests and learn computer data processing.

Third Year

Specialized seminars Graduation thesis preparation seminars

Students will conduct research while acquiring a higher level of expertise, and in graduation thesis preparation seminars they will also learn skills such as literature research and fieldwork.

Fourth Year

Graduation Thesis Seminar Graduation Thesis

With the advice of your supervisor in mind, you will complete your graduation thesis while deepening your awareness of the significance of your research topic.
