Educational and research objectives of each faculty and graduate school

Faculty of Economics

Based on Musashi University 's "Basic Educational Goals," Faculty of Economics aims to provide students with theoretical and applied knowledge of the economic society, and to cultivate independent thinking and the ability to make appropriate decisions. In addition, the Faculty's goal in human resource development is to foster capable members of society who are motivated to tackle the challenges facing the modern economic society.

Faculty of Humanities

Based on Musashi University 's "Basic Educational Goals," the Faculty of Faculty of Humanities has the educational and research objectives of cultivating broad insight, deep culture, linguistic ability, and international sensibility, and of imparting specialized knowledge and applied skills in each field of the humanities. Based on this, the Faculty's human resource development objective is to foster individuals who will sincerely work to solve contemporary problems.

Faculty of Sociology

Based on Musashi University 's "Basic Educational Goals," Faculty of Sociology aims to develop talented individuals with comprehensive imagination capable of realizing a desirable society by conducting education and research that cultivates a critical spirit and empathetic dialogue skills based on the discovery and theoretical and empirical analysis of various social issues.

School of Liberal Arts and Sciences

Based on Musashi University University's "Basic Educational Goals," School of Liberal Arts and Sciences has the educational and research objective of cultivating advanced English communication skills, as well as an understanding of a globalized society based on broad-based culture and deep Specialized Knowledge, through a liberal arts and sciences education in English. The School's human resource development goal is to cultivate global leaders who are equipped with collaborative skills based on a spirit of respect for others and who can take the lead in promoting innovation and overcoming crises.
 

Economics

Based on Musashi University 's "Basic Educational Goals," the Graduate Graduate School of Economics aims to provide students with the necessary Specialized Knowledge and research skills and knowledge to pursue highly specialized careers in economic theory, economic history, applied economics, management, business information, accounting, and finance, as well as to cultivate talented individuals who can contribute to the stability and development of the economy and society.

Master's Program

The objective of Master's Program is to develop talented individuals who can contribute to the economy and society, while nurturing the knowledge and thinking skills required for highly specialized professions, as well as to equip students with advanced specialized and applied skills built on basic academic ability.

Doctoral Program

As an institution that trains researchers, Doctral Program aims to train talented people who can conduct independent research both domestically and internationally, and to produce capable individuals who can contribute to the stability and development of the economy and society.

Humanities

Based on Musashi University 's "Basic Educational Goals," the Graduate Graduate School of Humanities aims to provide students with advanced Specialized Knowledge and skills in their major fields and to cultivate interdisciplinary knowledge across related fields. Its goal is to develop human resources who will become researchers with outstanding academic knowledge who will be active in educational and research institutions both in Japan and overseas, and who will contribute to the development of culture and society.

The purpose of education and research is to cultivate human resources with advanced academic knowledge and leadership skills who can acquire academic research skills in the fields of language, literature, history, thought, art, and comparative cultural theory in Europe and the United States, cultivate knowledge and skills that can be employed in highly specialized occupations, and contribute to the inheritance and development of culture.

Japanese Studies Major
The purpose of education and research is to cultivate human resources with advanced academic knowledge and leadership skills who can contribute to the inheritance and development of culture by acquiring academic research skills in the fields of Japanese language, literature, history, thought, art, folklore, performing arts, and East Asian cultural theory.

Sociology Program
The purpose of education and research in the fields of sociological theory, sociological methodology, media theory, and cultural anthropology is Master's Program to improve their academic research and investigation skills, and to cultivate human resources with advanced academic knowledge and leadership skills that can contribute to the development of society and culture that can contribute to the discovery and solution of various social problems.

Doctoral Program

Sociology Program
The purpose of education and research is to cultivate human resources who are professionals in research departments such as higher education institutions and companies, and who have advanced academic knowledge and leadership skills that can contribute to the development of society and culture in the fields of sociological theory, sociological methodology, media theory, and cultural anthropology.
