Wanting to learn more about financial systems, including securities and investments, I began my studies in my first year in Professor Nakajima's seminar, which specializes in corporate finance. In my second year, I used a website called the "Stock Learning Game" as a study material to simulate stock buying and selling. I made investments by utilizing the knowledge I had gained so far and predicting and understanding the meaning of actions taken by companies. Although I was confused at first, I was able to build a solid foundation by learning about finance from both a theoretical and practical perspective.

In the third year, participation in competitions both on and off campus was mandatory. So I took part in the Bank of Japan's "Bank of Japan Grand Prix" and the Securities Research Student Federation's "Securities Seminar Competition." At the former, I even did a 3D simulation of solar power generation, proposing a solution to Japan's vacant house problem with solar panels. At the latter, I put together a proposal to improve "problems with financial education in Japan," modeled on Europe and the United States. I'm proud to have put everything I could think into it, and I'm very pleased with the valuable experience I gained from the seminar.
