Musashi Gakuen celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022, and the following year, in addition to seminars, liberal arts and science education, and global education, it began to move strongly toward the next 100 years with data science education as a new pillar. One of the directions that society will move in the future is that as the scale of issues increases, the entities responsible for solving them will rather be decentralized and miniaturized. For example, in response to the major issue of global warming, efforts are being made to address the major issue of global warming, such as how to dispose of garbage, energy conservation at the building level, and the construction of small hydroelectric power plants at the regional level.
In such a society, there is a need for people who have both abilities to ask questions and solve problems on their own. In addition to the ability to ask questions through traditional humanities and social science education, Musashi University will develop the ability to solve questions through data science education, which will be strengthened from the 2027 curriculum.
In today's world, where people around the world are surrounded by people with diverse values and are more familiar with us, the ability to interact with people who have different ideas and goals than you are is essential. Musashi University 's liberal arts and science education fosters a broad range of liberal arts and the ability to master the knowledge of "literature" and "science".
By increasing learning opportunities to master the "Comprehensive Knowledge" of Integration of Humanities and Sciences and repeating discussions while pursuing "Specialized Knowledge" in traditional seminars, you will acquire universal skills that are not bound by common sense.
