To develop individuals who have the initiative and ability to work collaboratively with others in an increasingly diverse world.

Musashi Gakuen will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022, and the following year we will move strongly toward the next 100 years. For the next 100 years, Musashi University will focus more on seminars, liberal arts & sciences education, and global education.
In today's world, where people from all over the world are closer to each other, we need to not only follow global standards led by developed countries, but also pay attention to Asian countries and act with an awareness of diversity.
In this context, a liberal arts and science education cultivates the broad-based knowledge necessary for communicating with others and equips students with the ability to use knowledge from both the humanities and sciences. In order to acquire "Comprehensive Knowledge" that Integration of Humanities and Sciences and sciences, we have introduced a minor in addition to General Education Courses that can be taken across faculties, widening the scope of study. We also offer a variety of study programs both domestically and abroad, including Foreign Language Courses to strengthen practical language skills and gain global knowledge.
Seminars are a place where you can develop the foundational skills for all of this. In seminars, you hone your "ability to research and think for yourself," and hone your ability to find your own solutions in a society where problems with no right answers pile up. By repeatedly discussing while pursuing "Specialized Knowledge," you will also be able to acquire universal skills that are not bound by common sense.
Only by acquiring a good balance of "Specialized Knowledge" and "Comprehensive Knowledge" through this type of learning can students be able to utilize their expertise to their full potential even when working with others. They can act independently and fulfill their role within a group. These are the global leaders that Musashi University aims to produce.
While we are taking on a number of new challenges in the new era, our comprehensive educational system remains unchanged. We hope that students will acquire a wide range of knowledge over the four years of their studies, discover a new side of themselves through a variety of experiences, and take flight into society.
