Obtaining qualifications and licenses is not only advantageous for job hunting, but it also enriches your university life, and the effort you put into obtaining qualifications will also give you confidence. At Musashi University, there are qualifications that can be obtained through classes in each faculty and department, and many students are taking on the challenge.

Securities analyst
Faculties for which qualifications are available: Faculty of Economics
In the field of securities investment, these professionals analyze information, evaluate investment value, and provide advice and investment management services. Department of Finance also offers exam preparation courses, and students aim to pass the first level exam (3 subjects) of the Japan Securities Analysts Association (public corporation) by the time of graduation.
Japanese Language Teacher
Faculties for which qualifications are available: Faculty of Humanities
This is a profession that involves teaching Japanese language and culture to foreigners. By acquiring the required credits, you will be issued a "Japanese Language Instructor Program Completion Certificate" upon graduation. If you wish to work as an instructor at a Japanese language school, etc., it is recommended that you pass the Japanese Language Instructor Examination and complete practical training at a registered practical research institute to become a registered Japanese language instructor.
Certified Social Researcher
Faculties for which qualifications are available: Faculty of Sociology
This is an official qualification certified by Japanese Association for Social Research, and certifies that you have the professional skills required for social research. Faculty of Sociology is accredited by the association, and by earning the required number of credits for courses, you can obtain the qualification of a social researcher upon graduation.
Japan Statistical Society Certificate
Faculties for which qualifications are available: School of Liberal Arts and Sciences Economics and Management Program
This is a national standardized test administered by Japanese Association for Promoting Quality Assurance in Statistics. It evaluates knowledge of statistics and the ability to apply them. The ability to make objective judgments based on data and solve problems scientifically is widely recognized in the international community as a skill for work and research. In addition to the types of tests that measure abilities from basic to applied for each level, there are also tests that measure data science abilities.
