Faculty of Humanities Overview

What is Faculty of Humanities?

Learn the culture and language of each region to gain a multifaceted perspective and the ability to spread your wings and fly out into the world.

In modern society, where people, goods, and information flow across borders, globalization brings prosperity but also causes conflicts and frictions. To solve these problems, it is necessary to respect each other's cultures and continuously strive for coexistence.
Faculty of Humanities 's learning, which values dialogue with different cultures, provides the education and intelligence to comprehensively understand "why and how history moves and culture has taken root" as a single story, enabling correct perception of contemporary culture and society and the ability to solve problems. Dialogue with different cultures begins with an interest in various cultures. At Faculty of Humanities, our primary goal is to understand the cultures of English-speaking countries, Europe, Japan, and East Asia, and to reliably acquire the languages of the target regions. That's why we encourage both short- and long-term study abroad to learn the culture and language locally. Additionally, two new global programs are intensive training programs that further enhance the Faculty of Humanities efforts so far. What we want you to acquire is the power to soar around the world as global citizens.
Think and act as global citizens!
