Globalization and Media

Games and society

Today, the world is full of various games such as home game consoles, smartphone games, and trading card games. We've all played the game at least once. We will discuss the present day where games exist as a matter of course in our daily lives from various angles, including from a sociological perspective.

Media Ethics and Legislation

Learn how media information is trusted. Starting from the treatment of anonymous sources in news and the principle of presumption of innocence, we will also challenge a wide range of issues in the digital network society, including online privacy and copyright, social media moderation, and AI and media issues.

Advertising theory

Why is advertising ubiquitous in modern society? What is the unique form of expression of advertising? Why do advertisements go up in flames? Electronic Communication Theory

What kind of history is hidden behind the culture of social media such as Facebook and Twitter? This class examines the culture and structure hidden in the dynamics of social media, which has become a major player in communication in modern society, based on actual situations.
