Study abroad
Study Abroad for Economics and Management Program
One advantage of the PDP is that you can earn a degree from the University of London without studying abroad, but we also offer short-term and long-term study abroad destinations for students who wish to do so. We will post information on currently available Study Abroad through University Agreement abroad destinations.
Cebu Island
This is a 4-7 week IELTS™ preparation English training held in June-July of the first year. Students stay in a well-equipped dormitory and improve their English skills through one-on-one training. Even students who are not good at English can improve their scores and prepare for the start of IFP in September. In addition to the Cebu English training, we also offer domestic and online programs as English training to achieve the IELTS™ score required for PDP.
London School of Economics and political science (LSE)
LSE, which provides academic direction for the PDP program at the University of London, is a world-renowned university in the field of economics. Studying abroad at LSE will expand your opportunities, such as if you are considering going on to graduate school abroad.
General Course
Students study abroad from September of their third year of Musashi University to May of the following year, and study with excellent students from all over the world at LSE. If you meet the language standard IELTS overall 7.0 (each section 7.0) or higher, you will apply to LSE and LSE will select you. In addition to the GPA at Musashi University, the results of the IFP examination will also be used as a factor in the selection process. Although the tuition fee is high, it is possible to apply for external scholarships such as "Tobitate Study Abroad JAPAN" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan, and Musashi University also offers scholarships.
Summer School
This is a three-week study abroad program in August of the third year at Musashi University, and excellent students from all over the world gather here to study under the guidance of LSE faculty. The advantage of this program is that the tuition fees are relatively cheaper than the General Course. Applications are also required to LSE, and LSE will select students. Musashi University also offers scholarships.

Global Studies Program Study Abroad
Study Abroad/Global Service Learning (GSL)
Although not required, we strongly encourage students to take advantage of various opportunities to gain real-life intercultural experiences, such as participating in volunteer activities abroad or short- or long-term study abroad programs. One of the goals of the GS major is to prepare students for a semester or year of undergraduate study abroad at Partner institutions. Undergraduate study abroad involves taking classes in an academic field of your choice alongside local students at the host university. Furthermore, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers GSL, which helps students realize volunteer work, internships, community activities, and fieldwork that best fit their academic needs, interests, schedules, and budgets. To help alleviate the financial burden of participation, the university also offers Short-Term Study Scholarships.
Overseas Research
We may conduct overseas research for our Capstone Project. In the GS major, we have a class called Global Research Skills where we learn practical methods required for research and discuss the academic work of research. We also provide scholarships for overseas research.
