In Togo's seminar, we learn how to use RStudio and Python to analyze data. We also study argument structures and learn how to use Japanese concisely and accurately. In addition, we have a My News program where students talk about current affairs that interest them in front of everyone.

Scientific investigations into political phenomena using statistical methods

We will deal with questions that are extremely important in the real world, such as "Why do people vote?" and "Why do wars occur?" We will attempt to shed light on these questions using statistical methods such as regression analysis, taking into account previous solutions in political science and our own theoretical predictions.
Our seminar deals with very important political questions that should be relevant in the real world, like “Why do people vote?” and “Why do wars take place?”. In trying to answer these questions, we make the most use of the existing research in political science and statistical methods like regression analysis, in addition to original theoretical ideas.

The aim of the course is to understand the psychology of consumers and employees by reading literature on marketing and organizational theory. Exploring Statistical Problems and Paradoxes with Applications in Economics and Management

In this seminar, we will explore intriguing statistical problems, fallacies, and paradoxes, with links to economics and management. The topics include the Monty Hall problem, the prosecutor's fallacy, the birthday paradox, Simpson's paradox, Jeffreys-Lindley paradox, regression to the mean, and others. Students will work collaboratively in groups to investigate these topics and deliver a final presentation showcasing their findings.
