The real world leaves many unanswered questions and mysteries. For example, why would a state start a war despite the enormous costs involved? Why are populist radical right-wing parties gaining support in Europe, the United States, and Japan, despite their potential to undermine democratic institutions? In order to answer these and many other questions, it is essential to develop advanced Specialized Knowledge knowledge and the ability to think critically to apply it effectively. In collaboration with the University of London and the London School of Economics, the Parallel Degree Programme (PDP)* offered by Economics and Management Program (EM major) strives to systematically acquire advanced quantitative analysis skills and theoretical foundations. We welcome aspiring students who want to study in a variety of fields, from data science and economics to business administration and political science.

*Parallel Degree Programme: This is a program that allows students to take a BSc (Bachelor of Science) at the University of London at the same time while attending Musashi University and obtain a bachelor's degree from both universities. The University of London and the London School of Economics (LSE) will provide you with lesson outlines, textbooks, and carefully English lectures from Musashi University faculty to help you prepare for the University of London LSE exams.

    *Parallel Degree Programme(PDP): a Parallel Degree Programme with University of London and Musashi University. This programme allows students to take BSc (Bachelor of Science) courses from the University of London in parallel with bachelor degree courses at Musashi University and obtain degrees from both universities. The University of London (UoL) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) provides the course outlines and Subject guides. After receiving attentive and thorough instruction in English from Musashi University faculty members, students take an exam assigned by the UoL and LSE.

With an intensive curriculum immediately after enrollment, students first thoroughly train their language skills. Through repeated daily classes and preparation and review conducted in English, as well as through studying for the essay-oriented University of London exam, students acquire advanced English management skills.
