Global Service Learning

Global Service Learning is a hands-on, practical course (1-4 credits) that allows students to participate in short-term volunteer activities or internships overseas during summer or spring vacation. Classes and oral presentations are also held before and after the activities.
Although this is a subject in the GS major School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, it is open to students from all faculties and anyone can take the course. The purpose of "service learning" is to participate in community service activities based on local needs, and to use what you have learned to solve problems.
From the multiple programs available, you can choose the one that best suits you based on your interests, duration, and budget, and participate individually.
