Global Internship Program

The Global Internship Program is a four-week internship program during summer or spring vacation in the United States or Vietnam (planned) at a company related to your major or future career. Through work experience abroad, you can improve your practical skills, broaden your international perspective, and acquire the ability to respond to the global society. Participation is subject to an internal selection process.

Global Internship Program Application guideline

Eligibility
●Be enrolled in a regular course at this university
●1st to 4th year students
(Summer: First-year students are not eligible to apply. Students graduating in September must attend the report session held in September and submit their report by the end of September.
Spring: Fourth-year students must attend a report session in March after returning home and submit a report.
- Have sufficient English ability for the activity you wish to do
GPA 2.0 or higher
- Able to cover the costs necessary for participation
Those who have never participated in Overseas Field Research Programs, global internship or global service learning program in the past, or those who have participated but have not received a scholarship that meets the requirements of the Overseas Field Research Programs Scholarship Regulations.

Internship in Los Angeles, USA

Meet in Los Angeles

Week 1: Joint business training (4 days)
Through seminars by global leaders from Japanese companies and organizations active around the world, and group work and presentations with students of the same age, students will think about what it means to work globally.

Weeks 2-4: Internship (on-the-job training)
Internship placements are determined in consultation with students, allowing them to select from a wide variety of industries and job types based on students' interests.
You will gain practical experience in a wide range of tasks, including answering the phone, preparing documents, and accompanying sales staff.

Vietnam Internship in Ho Chi Minh City

Online pre-course (2 days)
A two-day business training session in both Japanese and English.
A career forum for young Japanese business people living around the world (Australia, USA, Canada, India, Taiwan, etc.),
Students of the same generation from all over the world will participate in discussions on a variety of topics.

Arrived in Ho Chi Minh City

Weeks 1-4: Internship (on-the-job training)
Internship placements are decided through matching interviews prior to departure (examples of industries: IT, education, media, etc.).
Participants will carry out the same tasks as local Vietnamese employees and new recruits, primarily at Japanese companies, gaining practical experience while deepening their understanding of different cultures.
