Study Abroad Life in Musashi

Class

East Asian Studeis(EAS)

As a study abroad program accepting Musashi University, we have established the 'East Asian Studies (EAS)' program. At EAS, international and Japanese students learn together, exchange opinions, deepen their understanding of different cultures, receive mutual stimulation, and provide opportunities to expand their own potential. In such an environment, we aim to nurture individuals who can be exposed to diverse values and contribute to the international community in the future.

All EAS classes are conducted entirely in English, consisting of 1~2 sessions per week, each lasting 105 minutes. Each subject is divided into 2 or 4 credits. According to student visa regulations, international students are required to attend classes for at least 10 hours per week.
Through these classes, you can study a wide range of fields including business, media, and diplomacy.

■Business and Economy
■Foreign policy
■History
■Media Studies
■Politics
■Religion
■Sociology

Japanese Class

International students can take Japanese classes according to their preferences and levels. You do not need to submit official scores such as the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) for enrollment.

Level placement is based primarily on the results of a placement test administered during the orientation period, but JLPT scores and previous learning history will also be taken into consideration.

Additionally, students with certain Japanese abilities may enroll in Musashi University 's regular classes (such as Specialized Courses) after approval by their respective instructors and language proficiency assessment. Eligible courses will be individually notified to eligible individuals.

Regular students from Musashi University will also be participating, allowing for lively exchanges between students. This is a great opportunity to promote intercultural understanding and make new friends.

Participation is free (travel and food costs are at your own expense). If you want to rediscover the wonders of Japan and meet new people, please feel free to join us.

The location will change every month. More information will be provided when applications open.

Club and circle activities

Musashi University offers a wide variety of clubs and circles, providing many opportunities to enrich your student life. Through extracurricular activities, you can meet people with common interests, acquire new skills, and make irreplaceable memories.

Some clubs also welcome international student participation. By working alongside Japanese students, you not only improve your Japanese skills but also gain a deeper experience of Japanese culture and student life.

If you are interested in club activities, please visit the club room of the club you are interested in. You can hear directly from club members about the activities and how to join.
