Certificates (Current students)

The "Certificate Issuance Service" is a service that allows you to apply for the necessary certificates online, pay by credit card or cash at a convenience store, and then print them out on a multi-function copier at a convenience store and have them issued online.


Please note that some certificates can only be issued at the university counter. For details, please see the section "Types and fees of certificates issued by Academic Affairs Division, Teacher Training Course, Curator Training Course, and Health Clinic."

Dates when the service will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance
Scheduled system maintenance will be carried out on the following dates:

How to use the service

Please log in to the following certificate issuing web service and apply for the required certificate.

■To view the operation manual after logging in to the certificate issuance web service, select "Manual" from the gear mark ⚙ in the upper right corner of the screen after logging in.


■For certificates with an "X" in the "Convenience store/online issue" column in the table above titled "Types of certificates and fees handled by Academic Affairs Division, Teacher Training Course, Curator Training Course, and Health Clinic" you can purchase an application form through the certificate issuing web service and then hand it over at the Academic Affairs Division counter. Please refer to the manual for purchasing the application form here.In addition, certificate issuanceWEBAlthough a "By Mail" button is displayed on the service's top page, our university does not issue certificates by mail.



Certificate issuing method

 

Convenience store issue

Applications are made online and certificates are printed out on multi-copy machines installed in convenience stores nationwide.

Online publication(Digital Certificate (PDF))

After applying online, a download link for the PDF data of the certificate will be sent directly to the company, educational institution, etc. to which it is to be submitted. *Sending to individual students is not possible.

Certificate counter pickup application

Apply online and pick up your certificate at the Academic Affairs Division Office. *Only available for some certificates.



The issuing method varies depending on the type of certificate. For details, please see the section "Types of certificates and fees available at Academic Affairs Division, Teacher Training Course, Curator Training Course, and Health Clinic."

About online publication

Online issuance of digital certificates is a service that allows various certificates to be sent directly to companies as digital certificates (PDF) with guaranteed authenticity.
The PDF data of the certificate is digitally signed and time-stamped to prevent tampering. If the PDF is tampered with after it is issued, an error message will be displayed when the PDF is opened.

Payment agency "SBPaymentService". Enter your payment information and print out the "payment slip" that is issued after payment has been accepted, or write down the "payment slip number" and present it to the cashier. The payment procedure is as follows.

Notes on using the service

 ■ About refunds

If you submit an application for the wrong number or type of certificates, the certificate issuance fees and other payments will not be refunded, regardless of the reason.

 

■ When a sealed seal is required

If you wish to have the certificate sealed, please contact the Academic Affairs Division Office. If you wish to have the certificate issued at a convenience store, please bring the issued certificate to Academic Affairs Division Office.  Certificates printed using this service are protected against forgery using POPITA technology.In addition, you may not copy and use it.

■Notes when submitting certificates to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Currently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not accept certificates made using this service (certificates made using POPITA). If you would like to submit a certificate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, please contact Musashi University Academic Affairs Division (03-5984-3728).

Precautions

Purchasing a student commuter pass and student commuter certificate

If you present your student ID and student commuter pass issuance receipt (valid for four years), you can purchase a student commuter pass at designated JR and private railway stations, bus offices, etc. However, if you are using lines operated by three or more companies, or some public transport services require a student commuter certificate, you must apply for one at Student Affairs Division Division.

In addition, the commuting section is the section for commuting to school, and only the shortest distance of the route used can be approved. Therefore, changes to the section for personal reasons such as part-time work are not permitted.

About the School Student Passenger Fare Discount Certificate (abbreviated as "Student Discount Certificate")

If you travel more than 100km one way on JR trains, you can get a 20% discount on the fare by using a student discount certificate (school student passenger fare discount certificate). (Student discounts may also be applied to ship trips, so please check with a travel agency for details.)

*You will need your student ID card when applying for a student discount card.
*The student discount certificate is valid for three months.
*Issuance to undergraduate students will be suspended during the Intramural Athletic Meet, the Four-University Athletic Meet, and Shirakijisai.
*Group discounts are available for groups of 8 or more people, so please apply at Student Affairs Division Division.
