Career Support Program

Musashi University 's small class size allows for attentive education and support, which is also practiced in career development. Faculty and staff members provide face-to-face, individualized support to students in line with their career goals, including career education including job hunting, foreign language education, qualification acquisition, and studying abroad.

Musashi University aims to support long-term, satisfying career development. We encourage students to research, reflect, and carve out their own career paths independently. On average, each student uses individual counseling sessions seven times during their studies (based on 2023 graduates). Through careful, repeated consultations, students develop the ability to make their own choices and decisions, leading to satisfying career outcomes.The average number of times each student uses individual counseling is seven times (results for 2024 Alumni). This support process, where students carefully interact with each other and make their own choices and decisions through multiple interviews, leads to a career path that they are satisfied with.

Over 90% of students use the Career Development Center’s individual counseling services before graduation (2023 graduate data). More than 10 staff members hold career counselor qualifications and are always available for easy consultation. Practical advice such as application document review and interview practice is provided, along with general career counseling, from the first year onward, with unlimited use. In the third year, every student has a one-on-one consultation to discuss post-graduation career choices and preparation plans. Whether aiming for employment, graduate school, or studying abroad, personalized plans are developed and refined through ongoing dialogue, supporting students in making their own decisions.will use Career Development Center for individual consultations (as seen in the case of 2024 Alumni). Every year, many Alumni and job-hunting supporters volunteer to help out, saying, "For the sake of our juniors!" In addition, students are assigned a professor throughout their four years who will provide advice not only on academic matters but also on lifestyle and careers.

A practical job-hunting program with the full cooperation of Alumni who are active at the forefront of society

This is a small-group program unique to "Musashi Seminar" run by Alumni. Third-year students who are just about to begin job hunting will think about their future work patterns and discover their own strengths and challenges through repeated dialogue with Alumni, fourth-year students, and career consultants.
