The purpose of this program is to subsidize the study of undergraduate students of Musashi University through scholarships and to contribute to the development of student resources. This scholarship is for those who have experienced a sudden change in their household finances, and we are always accepting applications.

Musashi University Shirakiji Scholarship

Based on a donation from Setsuko Egami, Professor of the Faculty of Sociology at Musashi University, the purpose of this scholarship is to encourage academic achievement by providing scholarships to undergraduate students of Musashi University who are from single-parent households to reduce their financial burden and to produce outstanding individuals who can contribute to social activities.

Musashi University Loan Interest Assistance Scholarship

There is a system that provides scholarships to those who are recognized as Outbound Exchange Students upon application.

If the tuition fee at the overseas university exceeds the tuition fee at our university, the difference will be further paid up to half of the tuition fee at our university. The Outbound Exchange Students of the semester study abroad program (1 semester) will receive a scholarship of up to 1/2 of the scholarship for the 1-year study abroad program.

Students at our university will pay tuition fees at Musashi University as usual for the year of study abroad. Tuition fees at the host university are exempted and must be paid, and Partner institutions are set separately. However, in any case, you will be responsible for your own accommodation and food expenses. The dormitory fee of the host university will usually be sent directly from the host university to the student after arriving at the site, and the bill will be paid to the host university by the specified date.

Musashi University Scholarship for Overseas Field Research Program

This program is part of the University's international exchange program. The purpose of this program is to contribute to the effectiveness of training by providing a certain amount of scholarship to students who wish to study abroad on a unique theme in order to acquire specialized and general knowledge and broaden their international perspectives. This program also includes the Global Internship (GI) Program and Global Service Learning (at least 2 credits), which is a common course for all faculties.

The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) provides loans and grants for tuition fees to outstanding students who are having difficulty studying for financial reasons. In principle, if accepted, it is a stable scholarship system in which the student can continue to receive the scholarship for the standard period of study. There are two types of loans: the interest-free "Type 1 Scholarship" and the interest-bearing "Type 2 Scholarship."

This is a public loan system that covers expenses incurred when enrolling in and during your time at our university.
