Message from the Chair Teacher Training Course

In Teacher Training Course, students from three faculties and eight departments study across the boundaries of faculties and departments with the aim of obtaining Junior High School and high school teaching license. Learning in Teacher Training Course begins in the first year, and over the course of four years, students thoroughly learn what education is, what a school is like, how to contribute to the development of students' personalities in a school setting, and what it means to develop people in specialized subjects.
Of the students who obtained their teaching qualifications this March, approximately 40% went on to pursue a career in teaching. After graduation, some students enter teaching immediately, while others choose to find employment in the private sector. Regardless of which path they choose, what all students taking Teacher Training Course have in common is that they lead busy but fulfilling student lives with their classmates, and that what they learn in Teacher Training Course has had a significant impact on their lives later on in their lives in their own ways.
In Teacher Training Course, we will continue to do our best to support the learning of our current students, as well as watch over and encourage the success of Alumni.
