Japanese Political Economy

Japanese Political Economy (JPE)は1972年から1996年まではJapanese Economic Studiesとして発行され、1997年から2013年まではJapanese Economyとして発行された。2018年に新しい編集長(横川信治)と共同編集者のもとに国際的な編集委員会が結成されました。JPEの事務局は現在、武蔵大学社会科学研究会(Musashi Institute for Social Sciences)に置かれています。
JPEは政治経済学と国際的関係を対象として、幅広い経済理論、資本主義の歴史的分析、現在の社会・経済問題(恐慌、金融不安定性、ジェンダー、環境、経済発展、格差社会、国際関係、政策等)をカバーしています。研究者、学生、政策担当者に日本とアジアの現状と歴史的国際的変遷をよりよく理解するための、重要な資源となっています。
JPEの発行元はRoutledge社であり、世界のトップレベルの大学の図書館の多くが購読しています。JPEは2022年からScopus(世界最大級の抄録・引用文献データベース)にも採択されています。Web of Scienceが提供するインパクトファクターは0.9、Scopusが提供するサイトスコアは1.5、Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) Journal Quality ListのランキングはBです。
