    • Lectures and seminars: Modern school education. In the lectures, we will take up the issues facing modern school education and examine them from multiple and varied perspectives. In the seminars, we will hold discussions with participants about the issues facing modern school education.

    • He provided guidance on a range of topics, including inequality and poverty in education, issues of tuition fees, scholarships, and black-job jobs, education reform in modern Japan, and issues of excessive teacher workload.

Professor Kaori Kanai

  • Research area/content
    • Educational anthropology, intercultural education, teacher education.
  • Content of subjects
    • Lectures and seminars: We will examine the organization of the curriculum (educational course, learner's learning experience) and educational methods based on domestic and international theories and practical examples. In particular, we will consider the experiences and roles of teachers in modern society from the perspective of educating minority children.
  • Recent research guidance
    • I have provided guidance on research into sexual minorities, the school experiences of international children (half and double), experiences surrounding children's rights at school, and performance evaluations by junior and senior high school teachers.
