Message from the Chairman
Providing support for current and future Musashi University students
My name is Hiroto Ishino, and I have been asked to serve as Parents' Association Chairman for the year 2025. I look forward to working with you.
The purpose of Musashi University Parents' Association is to maintain contact between the University and families, and through mutual understanding and cooperation, to support the educational projects and various activities of students of the University, as well as to enhance and develop the educational environment of the University.
The role of the "Mutual Understanding and Cooperation" is two-fold. The first is to support activities that enhance campus life for current students, including cafeteria support and extracurricular activities such as club activities, circle activities, and the school festival (Shirakiji Festival). The second is support for the future Musashi University, such as the purchase of cafeteria fixtures for the new Building 2 and support for the enhancement of future facilities. This year, we will continue to implement our budget plan to provide support for current students and for the future.
I would like to share something with all current students. This is my fourth year as an officer of the Parents Association, and I serve in the capacity of one of your parents. I know that you have all been affected by the behavioral restrictions imposed by Corona during your precious youth. Now that the restrictions have been lifted, as a parent or guardian, I strongly hope that your four years at Musashi University will be a safe and enjoyable time for you, and that it will be an irreplaceable time that will remain in your memories for the rest of your lives. We understand that each of you has a different living environment, different ways of thinking, different ways of spending your time, and different challenges and requests to the university. In particular, a new lifestyle, including a new Building 2 and a cafeteria, will begin in the fall semester of this year. We believe that your opinions about the new facilities are very valuable. On the other hand, Parents' Association also recognizes the importance of supporting you, but we also believe that we should not be too overprotective. Therefore, this year we are considering using questionnaires and other methods to recognize your issues and prioritize our response to them. We will then develop a budget plan that will enable you to spend a better student life at Musashi University. Thank you for your cooperation.
To our parents and guarantors, we would like to express our gratitude for your understanding and cooperation. We will continue to study the issues facing students and conduct interviews with parents' organizations at other universities throughout this year, and will consider better measures for next year. We will continue to work closely with Parents' Association board members and faculty members to provide activities and support to help enrich the lives of your sons and daughters as students. Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation.
