About the notebook PC for learning
*This page is a guide for students enrolling from the 2024 academic year onward. Students who enrolled before the 2023 academic year should use this page as a reference when purchasing a new PC.
Musashi University has the opportunity to use PCs on a daily basis for course registration, grade checking, assignment work, class material distribution, on-demand classes, and material creation. Therefore, please prepare a personal PC (excluding Chromebook) that you can occupy and use and bring to university.
The performance required of a university student's personal PC depends on what they learn during their four years of university. It is not uncommon for the content you want to learn to change in 1~2 years after enrollment, so there is a possibility that you may not have enough PC performance or have too much high-performance PC. Therefore, if you have your own PCs that you have been using until high school, you may have the option to continue using them for the time being after entering the school, and when you can see the direction of learning, you can consult with your teacher and purchase the necessary PCs. There is no need to force yourself to buy a PC to enroll in school.
If you are purchasing a new PC, please refer to the recommended specifications below to select a PC with equal or better performance.
