【Attention regarding Novel Coronavirus：2019-nCoV】

Following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus-related pneumonia in Wuhan City (Hubei Province, China), the Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) have issued a call for attention.
Students, faculty and staff members are advised to make appropriate judgement and take actions based on the latest information that can be obtained.

MOFA issued a “Warning on Infectious Diseases Level 3: Avoid all travel”, applicable to the entire area of Hubei Province of China, Wuhan City included. For the rest of the country (excluding Hubei Province), MOFA raised the level of the warning from “Level 1: Exercise caution” to “Level 2: Avoid non-essential travel”.
If you suspect haven been affected by the virus, wear a mask and immediately consult with the local Public Health Center.
Follow standard recommendations to prevent infection spread. These include regular handwashing and covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
