備考
Background Information
The Japanese academic year starts on April 1st; teaching is based on a semester system, with the Spring semester running from April through to early August, and the Fall semester from mid-September through January, with a two-week break for Christmas. Faculty meetings and administrative duties are not restricted to term time, and often require the presence of teaching staff on campus even when there are no classes. For details about the yearly schedule, see the site above. The department is responsible not only for its own students but also for monitoring general English courses for the university as a whole.
*Applicants are expected to check the Japanese version of this job opening announcement, which is to be deemed the formal and binding version in cases of any difference in interpretation.
