Data science education has been increasingly adopted in many educational institutions in recent years. At first glance, it may seem like a science field, but Vice President Konokawa says, "Data science is essential for the humanities and serves as a tool to broaden the base of innovation."

The article clearly explains that the true importance of data science lies not in "statistical or programming skills" itself but in the purpose of "what kinds of problems to solve and how," and the potential applications in humanities fields such as humanities and social sciences.
