A special talk show for "Buddy," the ending theme song for the fourth season of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," was held at Musashi University.
A stellar cast of guests gathered at Musashi University, creating a frenzy in the venue.
On Friday, November 28, 2025, a special talk show featuring "Buddy," the ending theme for the fourth season of the TV anime "Mr. Osomatsu," was held in the university's Auditorium.
The venue was graced with an impressive lineup of popular voice actors, including Seiji Kameda, a visiting professor at our university who wrote the lyrics and composed the music, as well as Takahiro Sakurai (voice of Osomatsu), Jun Fukuyama (voice of Ichimatsu), and Miyu Irino (voice of Todomatsu). This dreamlike collaboration had the venue filled with excitement even before the show began.
Seiji Kameda appointed as "Osomatsu-san Faculty President"!?
This special talk show took place in the unique setting of the newly established "Osomatsu-san Faculty" at Musashi University.
Facilitator Seiji Kameda played the role of "President of Osomatsu-san Faculty" and engaged in in-depth conversations with the guests based on six timetables (classes) based on themes such as music, work, and life.
Behind the scenes of the production: One after another, behind-the-scenes stories that can only be heard here were revealed, such as the thoughts that went into the song "Buddy" and episodes that came from playing the characters.
Guest Questions: In the section where questions were collected in advance and answered, the speakers spoke, sometimes seriously and sometimes with laughter, about how they approach their work and their views on their careers as voice actors, creating a great atmosphere in the venue.
The approximately 90-minute talk show was held in a friendly atmosphere throughout, and the professional perspectives of each speaker were intertwined, making it a truly valuable experience. It was a memorable event that combined the academic theme typical of Musashi University with the entertainment value of a hugely popular anime.
